Hebrews 8 explains that Jesus is our high priest in heaven, serving in the true sanctuary made by God. It introduces a new covenant—better than the old one—because it’s based on better promises. This covenant is written on hearts, offering forgiveness and a close relationship with God. The old covenant is now outdated and fading away.
